Daniel,
Airtronics is still around, as you can see they don't have much market share, last I looked they had several radios optimized with software for the complex glider guiders.

Ordered yesterday a Graupner MZ-24 (12 channels).
The receivers are affordable, the price was right, it has 3 more channels than my Aurora 9, and it seems to have an excellent reputation.
It should be here in 2 weeks.

I normally fly Futaba but i've just got myself a Graupner mz-24 as it was alot less than buying another Futaba set with full telemetry and the receivers are cheaper than Futaba ones.

JR. I dabbled with Futaba for a SHORT while but that did not last.
Having said that, I use the FrSky telemetry modules in both my trannies and FrSky Rx's in all my planes, including my 12 foot wingspan petrol powered Telemaster tug (sorry guys). In four years I have not had a brown out, dropout or freak out from the FrSky. and would not go back to the overpriced stuff. I hope the Taranis is a good as their other stuff. There is no reason why not.
Ioan.

I am currently using Spektrum radios. I learned to fly with them but have not tried any others yet, still learning.

Same as warbird1944. Learnt on Spektrum, still use a Spektrum. DX8 and DX18. No problems thus far. Touch wood!

[QUOTE=107ch]
Other:? FrSky Taranis, I had been using FrSky modules and receivers for years?w200.00 :
I am with 107 on this one. I am migrating from my JR 10X to Taranis and loving the programming.
I was even able to setup the know to give me in flight variable exponential.
