I think the A model will satisfy the crowd's thirst for Luftwaffe aircraft for a while.
Some are already crying for a Dora but gotta get back to the Spit, waiting the backburner.

Next is the Stab tips made of balsa lamination.

With the Sub L.E. in place, I glued the tip and realize I need another 1/16" layer to conform to the rib.


SO instead of 2 layers for each half, it will be 3

I still don't understand how you handle the transition from the flight skin to the bare wood and compound curves without some sort of seam.

Once I sanded the wing tips to shape, I am ready to glass LE and tips:



First step: masking tape off the edge of the LE:


 Cut a strip of thin glass cloth
