Did I see the Halberstadt at a Dawn Patrol in IN? Both models very nice!

I had the Halberstadt at the Ohio Dawn Patrol and at the Hoosier Dawn Patrol. It crashed at the ODP when the engine quit during the final turn to landing. Then, at the Hoosier DP I couldn't get the 3W60 to run at all. So back home I pulled an old G62 off my shelf, put it in, and it flies it fantastic.

Both are outstanding looking models...and it completely blows me away that you are able to knock out one each year!

Our winters are 6 months long up here in NE Ohio!

That's even worse.  You're telling me that you knock'em out in 6 months!

Do you have build threads for them? I always loved following your building. It’s been a long time. [/QUOTE

I was too lazy to do build threads but I took pictures along the way so I could still

There's the trick right there.  He just goes ahead and BUILDS instead of endlessly waffling about building. That's so totally unfair!

I usually fly 'em before I add all the details.

Jim, what’s is the info on the peashooter? What plans did you use? Modifications? Type of paint?

Sorry for all the questions but you don’t see too many built and yours looks fantastic. Most of the plans have inaccuracies or issues. I know you changed the Santich plans before.

I drew my own rough plans using 3 views and the old Royal plans as they looked to have the most accurate outlines.
