I am in Falls Church just outside of Washington. I joined AMA about 2 months ago and I am deciding on whether or not I want to join DCRC, Freestate, or NVRC. I just got back from the WW1 plane jamboree at Rhinebeck, NY.  Since I was a kid I have always loved the WW1 planes.  I am hoping to go to Rhinebeck next year as a pilot and not a spectator.

Welcome!  You will find all sorts of WWI builds here, from kits to totally scratch built.  Once you decide on a subject be sure to post  your build on the site, you will get maximum help that way.

Rhinebeck is certainly on my list of places to visit someday. I'll be going to the Oceana air show this weekend though to get my annual full scale up and personal experience!
