Gonna go "Low Tech" this winter as soon as I finish off a special project and do something a bit different... No twins... No retracts... NOTHING COMPLEX on this one!

Well, hopefully I can finish a couple of existing projects.  My Platt 190 and a BUSA Nieuport 28.

Well the Flite Metal finally arrived and I'm finally starting my TF 1/5 Mustang (oh no, not ANOTHER Mustang)   My dad and I dreamed of having one of these since I was a kid- He's been gone for 9 years now, and this is my way of fulfilling that dream for the both of us, now with my 15-year old.  Should be fun!!    Hopefully, it'll look like this when it's done.

Chris

Chris,

Great idea to "honor" your Dad, and include your 15 year old son as well.  And although there may be a lot of them...there's nothing wrong with a good "stang".  I've a distant cousin who actually owns a full scale in mint condition (Serial  44-73350, N33FF, named "ARCHIE").  Unfortunately Lee has reached that time in life where he doesn't fly much anymore...so "Archie" just sits in the hanger at Vichy Missouri.

Thanks Kent- I appreciate that!  "Archie" is a beauty-

Still listed as "flying" on mustangsmustangs.com... You hate to see such a pretty bird sitting on the ground for an extended period like that... Here's the link if you haven't seen it.
