weekend local news has shown a ww2 aircraft found ,because af the low tides we have been having ,it has revealed a Lockheed  Lightning which has been buried in the sand 60 years after ditching , reseach has revealed that the aircraft was on gunnery training when one engine quit , the pilot then decided to make aturn for home when the other engine quit , he then decided to ditch , the pilot escapped unharmed . the pilots name was Lieutenant  Robert Elliot , who was later k,i,a in africa  , i will post more as i get more info ,      Jeff
