Tell everyone what type of glue you prefer to use when FRAMING a model. If you choose "Other" please post the specifics.
Thanks!
Mike

I use CA most of the time but Of course I have to have a tube of Ambroid open or the shop just doesn't smell right when I am framing a model.

I used to use Pica's gluit but that is no longer available and have not tried the superphatic yet but once I start to build again I will give it a try. Been out of a shop for a few years but that is going to change by mid summer!

Ha, a couple of winters ago, I went out and bought some of the old school (orange) Ambroid glue to glue parts of a model.....just to take a step back in time to the 80's, when I was 15....... It was great.

I like to use Titebond whenever possable because CA fume's tend to linger in the air [even when I vent my work space] and tend to give my FLUE like symptome's. It take's longer with Titebond but I think the "BITE" is stronger and I feel better after working on a build.

Here is a vote for "all of the above" plus one not mentioned, slow cure epoxy. All have pros/cons. Is the polyurethane the foaming type? Used carefully, it's great for filling some voids where lots of surface is available. Sometimes the epoxy is with glass micro-spheres, sometimes not. I just love this forum!
