I have had the privilege of making many new friends (some becoming really good friends) through our great hobby! How about you?

It has been a lot of fun for me to go to events and meet people that I have known through RCSB, sometimes for a long time. For example at Warbirds over Georgia I saw people that I have known for years! I could not count the number of friends I have made in this hobby.

I am lucky enough to fly all over the world and meet people from RCSB everywhere.
It is always a good day whenever I meet someone new.

I agree. I have met a lot of people that I have the privilege of calling friends. That is a very big part of this for me. This forum has expanded that circle immensely!

+1 on that! And made so many friends here, sheesh - seems like I could go about anywhere in the world and meet a buddy.

Being in the hobby for 40 plus years I have met a lot of good people. Joining RCSB and talking to the numerous talented craftsman on line to me is icing on the cake. Being new to the scale environment I can see that scale builders are different breed and are what the modeling hobby is all about. Wish I would of started in scale years ago. This web site is addictive like a morning cup of coffee , you got to get on line and see who's done what. People are extremely friendly and willing to explain and teach newbie's. I follow several builds in sheer amazement over the techniques , workmanship and laugh over the banter between friends, ending in a beatiful scale aircraft. I must applaud the members of this website here in the States and abroad in other countries for making this Hobby even more enjoyable for many of us.

As a very, very new member to this community, 15 months, I have to agree with the friendship and assistance that is offered, free of charge and with no hesitation at all. The learning curve is enormous and when you watch, look and listen, new skills, ideas and methods appear from all directions
I personally applaud the skills, abilities and craftsmanship from a very large group of very talented and clever people from all over the world.
I admit also that it is my morning adrenaline rush to see what has been achieved the night before.
Thank you with all sincerity
Darryll
