I am somewhat of a frustrated RC'er I absolutely love the hobby and cannot wait to start building and flying my own models, but having just graduated in Mine Engineering I am really struggling to find work and am back at my mums...! There are no flying fields nearby and no RC people of any kind! And there is no space to build!

 

BUT my building inspiration is kept alive reading thread after thread on this great website! And I keep my flying eye in using a couple of RTFs that I fly from the golf course above the house, you might like the views ;)

I have had the pleasure of making many friends on this site. The amount of knowledge and the fact that everyone is willing to help is great.

I would like to see more people use the chat site. It is nice to talk with people all over the world real time.

I have met so many molders and so many friends over the years (lots of years) that have inspired me to keep building and flying (trying). You won't see me in competition but I am the guy that gets shooed away for drooling on someone’s great build. Since finding this site I have met a lot of great people (names withheld to protect the guilty). For some reason I have not been active on this site for the past year but things will change, NO comment require Mike! I have learned so much from reading the build posts that one day I will put them together. This activity is not a hobby but an incurable sickness, for which I am glad there is no cure, except for constant building.

I don't keep a large number of friends, but each and every one of the few that I call "friend" came from this hobby.

That probably says more about how pathetic my life is, than about how great this hobby may be.
