Close enough. I was looking for the military designation of N2T-1, the Timm Tutor, aka "Tiny Timm". This airplane was the first one constructed using plastic, or at least they called it plastic. Molded plywood with a special adhesive, similar to the Mosquito. Unfortunately it would suffer from rot. There are a couple of flyable examples in museums. The designer, Otto Timm, gave Lucky Lindy his first airplane ride and a couple of lessons when Lindbergh started flight training in Nebraska in 1922. I have done a lot of research on this plane to design a large model of it, but it's a ways down the queue.

Uncle Paulie's turn.

As I said in my previous post the aircraft I am seeking has 4 engines.

1 - mid wing mono plane
2 - Came about as a an alternative choice for development to production.
3 - At least 3 other "firsts" besides it's first flight
 4 -  crew of seven
