Many years ago I read "Kelly".
That is Kelly Johnson's autobiography and also another book by Ben Rich, who was Kelly's deputy and succeeded him at the Skunk works.
I still have the Kelly book, but I borrowed the one by Ben Rich from the Library, so not sure of the title, but both are a good read.
My memory told me that bit about drawing on a napkin was mentioned.
Now today I can put down a screw in the shop and five minutes later I don't remember where I put it, but some long term things come right back.
I subscribe to the theory that older people take longer to remember things because their memory file has so many records
that the search takes longer!
I will post one from a random book search after I have had breakfast, waking up with a cup of Coffee now.
