Correct. Henri snuck it in first. The Gustav Otto Doppeldecker. This photo is of a C.I. Some of these were used operationally in Africa and on the Eastern Front. Most were used at Flugplatz Schleissheim to train the Bayerische Fliegertruppe.

He who hesitates is lost.   I wrote my guess, but then hesitated to do a couple more googling on German pusher aircraft.  By the time I posted, Henri has already nailed it. 

Anyway, that was fun.  I looked up dozens of German (and Austrian-Hungarian) 2-seaters.  That much was clear from the first two slices. 

When and if I take another turn I think I'll also try the "photo slice" approach.
