it doesn't really help.  we need another clue is what I meant by crumbs down the rabbit hole. The warren truss was used on a lot of planes. Its been almost a day since you posted another clue.

I was referring to the Warren Girder strut system.  W

Another clue would be that the successor to this aircraft took part in an air raid on London in WW2
 It also had  unusual ailerons.
