Beautiful work!
How do those single wire landing gears work out? Are these similar to the royal kit? Thank you!

.........

Its the same kit...different name. The Japanese family no longer makes the kits. They got into smaller
fibereglass ARF's at the same time Futaba did ...too early with scale while everyone else was
introducing trainers.

Then their Marutaka had a ditrch effort by being too early into 1/5 scale.(FU Corsair) F4U-1A and
heavy all wood. The kids gave up and quit.

There are many sheet "molded" bals parts sandwiched with silk between two thin sheets of silk.
The most advanced balsa kit I ever saw.

Fantastic project! If this is a kit built and a scratch build.... I assume with careful choice in wood there could be a significant weight difference. What did your airplanes weight?
We had a guy that when some one bought a kit he would borrow it and make a copy of the airplane. The difference between the kit and the copy plane was significant in a .60 size Ultra sport 60 I saved about 16oz. People that saw that plane fly were amazed at its performance compared to the kit version.

Ramses,

Congrats to you and Fran on awesome models! Just love the faded looking camo and the weathering. You will have a lot of fun flying them together.

Hoping you can post a couple closer up pictures.

John
