This is the club's existing permission to fly at Apollo. Note she who signs and issued the permit is still
your relief... https://valleyflyers.com/ewExternalFiles/LA%20City%20%26%20V F%20Permission.pdf
Its not as if the City Of LA does not receive written requests for continued permission to use the property...

The old adage "If you are not part of the solution...you (club members) are part of the problem". Not
to sound curt, its only the reality. Its not someone else's job.

Sorry to stur up a hornets nest guys.
All your input needs to go to someone who can "make it happen". I'm thinking the feds are in charge of the dirt, maybe fire a few at Washington. And along the way get the AMA activated.

Don't forget the runway proximity to Van Nuys Airport. Apollo field is dealing with a 250' ceiling as it is. Moving closer to the airport will make a big difference.

There is so much to the problem, we are not sticking to the spirit of this site.
It was just a friendly "Heads UP".

We are Scale builders and building drives this forum.
Personally, I'm getting tired of the "We are Scale builders and building drives this forum." response whenever it comes to there being issues like this on the site. Yes there is much to the problem, but without dealing with the issue at hand we'll be changing the name of the site to STATICBUILDER.COM.

Sorry guys, I am closing this thread as THIS SITE IS ABOUT SCALE BUILDING. If you do not like it there are many other sites you can visit if you are "tired of it".

Thanks,
Mike
