I live in the mid lands of Southern Ireland I've been out of the sceen for some time and returning now to the hobby of my dreams. My interests in the hobby are building from scratch, at present I'm building a Neltz design 1/3rd scale Piper Cub J3. Christmas wishes to all. Wopaddy.

Wopaddy,
Welcome! Hoping you find any and all information needed to make scale modeling more fun. Also just checking out some of the awesome builds here you will learn lots and be inspired.
As you work on your Cub if you have any questions please post them. Members here are helpful and knowledgeable. And of course happy to share their knowledge and skills. After all that is the purpose of this fine site.
Have visited Ireland twice. Beautiful country and everyone very friendly. Pubs are nice too!
Cheers!
John B.

Welcome to RCSB!!
The Cub will be a great flyer! There is a lot of very talented guys here that can help you over the hurdles you will face. Becoming a subscribing member of RCSB will allow you to share your pictures on line with us. Since this is your first build in a while don't become too obsessed with the little scale details. You can always build a second or third one with all the bells and whistles. We can sometimes speak a little Gallic but barely enough to order a beer!
BTW We have 10 Connemara pony's on our farm.

Thank you John B, Skyediamonds & Sparky for your warm welcome. After the festive season I will look into the site supporters membership. At the moment the old guy with the white beard is leaving the North Pole and is taking up a lot of my time with my grand kids, who wil have me shortly if I am lucky getting a loan of one of Sparkys ponies to go to the pub as a getaway from them. Thanks again to all. Have a wonderful Christmas.
