My 1/6 Sig J3 Cub started life with a Saito 40 engine, but I converted it to electric.  I built the Craftsman kit and it's the full wing version but it is probably similar to the Clipped Wing.  The difficult part will be getting access to the motor battery.  I made a functional cabin door and use it for the battery but it is a little bit of a pain at the field.

The build is here:  1/6 Sig J3 Cub   The conversion is toward the end.

Tim,
Beautiful aircraft, haven’t gotten to the conversion part yet. How would I save the link to the thread? Will be building my Cub this coming winter. Need to learn how to fly first. Just out of curiosity, what are you building now. Thanks again for the thread.

Regards,
clc58

The only way that I know of would be to make it a "Favorite" in your web browser.

Working on two models concurrently, a Top Notch Lear Fan and an IMAC DR-107 One Design from the Matt Mrdeza plan.
