Since january I became a member of the forum. I live in the Netherlands and my age is 72 years old. I have always loved things that could fly  and start moddeling at the age of ten years. I learned a lot of my father who was also a moddeler. First I did free flight. After that, control line for many years. In the nineteens I decided to become a pilot glider and in a year I had my PPL And have many flying hours in my log. In the year 2010 I became ill due to a heart failure. I could not fly anymore. So there was my old hobby .....model planes. I became a member of  a local modell flying club and learn to fly. It was more difficult as I thought. First you have no feeling and second too much rudder.

But in a year of many hours of flying with an instructor there was the time to do it on my own. Everything was good so I got my model flying licence.

After  some years I decided to become a side member  of the RC SCALEBUILDER. So here I am.

The city is 's-Hertogenbosch, thats the full name but we say Den Bosch, and is situated in Noord-Brabant the Netherlands.

The model flying field is in Rosmalen and only 1 km. from Den Bosch.
