We finally got around to doing the maiden flight on the Trash Panda Hellcat.

At 53lbs rtf, it flies very nicely and with the DLE111, it really hauls butt, it has nice slow flight characteristics as well.

Man Thomas, That was nice!!! Did you have a build thread here on RCSB. If so I totally missed it. I saw from the video information that it was a fiberglass fuse that you rescued from a trash can hence the name. That is a fine and powerful flying airplane right there! Congratulations!!!

It was a “sorta-build” thread.   I didnt update it a ton due to lack of interest and it originally didnt start out as a project that was going to get much detail, but that didnt last long. Lol


It did come from trash pile, but didnt take much work to fix the fuselage.

No, all of that was stripped out. We were able to get the gear from the previous ownee though.
