Hi John, I think the pics you are referring to are Pascal's, I haven't published mine yet as RCM&E get first pass at pics, and I have three columns to write before they go live.
Cheers
Danny

Thanks for sharing this experience here, it's been very interesting to follow.  Is there much difference between the build quality comparing 4C and 4H in general?  In some pictures it's obvious, in others it's not so much.  Ben's model for example looks like it's 4C quality.  Really great to see his model doing well at 1/6 scale.

The classes are greatly differentiated as spelled out in the F4 FAI guidelines

Thanks Phil.  There was some overlap in quality between C&H.  I was planning on entering in C but the US wasn't initially sponsoring a team in H.  They ended up holding another qualifier for C but I wasn't driving the 4 day (total) trip to go to Muncie again.  I believe the winning plane in H was in C in past Worlds, he moved it down to H for reasons you may be able to deduce.  Most of the Czech H planes were as good as many of the C planes.  I think you've pretty much hit it on the head; some look to be as good, some don't.  I didn't look through too many people's documentation so what looks like a really well made plane may have outline issues or something.

The flying is the same in C & H but the static is different and only scores 30% of the total.

Static is carried out a 5 mt rather than the 3 mt in C.
This is supposed to mean all the extra detail on a C model can not be seen.
They can still see the outlines that are the big marks.

In addition in H you can only supplie 5 pictures so again , you can not show extra detail.

The class works well. most times they are flown together there are double the numbers in H.

It also means that building a H model takes less time,  giving more time for practise flying. The better flyers win !

I have finally sorted my piccies out and removed the shaky/blurred/nonsense ones.

If you are bored or just can't sleep they are all here.......

Thanks ben there must be 50+ of yours in their :) Ben borrowed my camera for a few hours!!

Better viewed on a PC screen as you don't get the benefit until you see them full size, the album just shows thumbnails

Cheers
Danny
