The NWSAM Championship event is the premier scale event in the Northwest and Red Apple Field is one of the premier flying sites in the Northwest! This is a weekend filled with some of the most beautiful scale aircraft flown by some of the best pilots. The NWSAM annual meeting will be held Friday night after a pizza dinner party courtesy of NWSAM. Come out and be part of the biggest scale event in the Northwest!! Directions: The Red Apple Flyers Field is located 2.3 miles east of the entrance to Pangborn field. Take Grant Rd east from East Wenatchee, stay on the main road past Pangborn field. Go through a 90 degree left turn on 4th street headed east. The Flying field entrance is on the left 2.3 miles from the Pangborn field entrance. Lunches: Available for purchase on-site Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Dinner: Available for purchase on-site Saturday. Event Categories: Pro-Am Sportsman (Novice) Pro-Am Pro (Intermediate) Pro-Am Unlimited(Experienced) Advanced Expert Team NOTE: All categories will be judged per NWSAM rules. ARF aircraft and new comers welcome!! Must show proof of AMA. Aircraft engine noise must be at or below 95 dB at 10ft. NO TURBINES if burn ban is in effect.
