Hi everyone!! This is Joe Nelson. I have been an RC engine guy for over 50 years. Durning this time I have had the honor of learning from such 2 stroke engine greats as Dale Herbrandson, the godfather of the reed valve system and Ralph Cunningham just to name a few. Many of you also know me as to grumpy voice behind the RCGF engines, now Stinger Engines Brand, for over 20+ years. I have working with the factory as a partner for the past 17 years. During this time, With the help of my partners Catherine and Jonny, we have sunk our hearts, souls, and for that matter our entire lives into making the Stinger Engine the best engine you could buy for the money. It has been my honor to have worked and served as your go to guy for these engines during this time. There have been many ups and downs in our hobby over the years, some good but some bad as well. We have seen the birth of the "interwebs" where products and information are now at your finger tips. Sadly we have also seen the death of the "Brick and Mortar" hobby shops. My path in this hobby is changing as well. It is time for me to step aside and let some of you younger pups take up the torch. I am passing the gauntlet of Stinger Engines to Tomas at "LEGEND HOBBY" for the Americas and beyond. Tomas is stepping up to shoulder things going forward. I ask that you please continue to support our hobby, and also Catherine, Jonny, Tomas, and Stinger Engines. The Factory and I will keep the Stinger Service Center and our phone lines open until the end of the year, Dec. 31, 2024.
