You asked how to easily achieve a "bright" but not mirror finish with . Either a mirror finish or a bright "sprite" clean aluminum finish are achieved in exactly the same way. Its a matter of matching documentation (picture) of a plane that looks like what you want to match.
People often ask me to help them find pics. Below is a Cessna in a clean non-oxidized natural aluminum finish. Owners of these often polish them to a mirror finish...but they rolled out of Wichita, KS looking like the one below.
