I know Willem, he's a great guy and we've been in contact with each other several times about the aircraft work.
The drawings he made are very good and accurate, but they're not cheap because they're drawings for an original full-size airplane.
A friend of mine built the Fokker Spider so it could fly using these plans. It turned out to be a wonderful machine, but it involved a lot of work.

Hunter

Some years back, early 2000's, Joe Topper who owns Proctor Enterprises had built a Fokker Spin. you might check with him. I've known him for years and is a real nice guy to deal with.

Good morning all my fello scale builders!

Now i think i am somewhere that someone who understands my passion for early WW1 addiction and most anything to do with prop liners from the  50-60s..

Never in my 40 tears of building i have involved myself in a forum talking about my passion of craftsmanship.
thumbing through this forum i see members with the same interests i have as i think ARF and RTF are making things to instantly possess something that no effort goes into.

Yes fun to get out on the field however not the same pride.
But that's an opinion of course.

I have been off and  on with my scratch built SPAD XIII. This is a project i started gathering info on nearly 12 years ago. I have made so many pieces on how to make a lighter aircraft that i could of had warehouse.

This is why it has take so long. This aircraft will end up in a museum after i fly it and am targeting that date in the next year of so.

This has been drawn up from replicraft prints for a scale model.
This is where the passion comes in. So its passionate people with the interest

I am a newbie but have been doing this stuff for a long time. So Hello All
Cheers
Donny

Oh reading above i remember taking a drive down I5t to aurora Oregon to see the original owners of proctor ent.
I purchased a  D5a off them. This was kit 3 in production. This is back in 91
For anybody who was out on the property back then really can appreciate the dream.
I met Ralph Beck and Dick Hanson. Dick Built the first prototype. That aircraft was mated up to an Enya VT-240.

I left that day with the kit and the motor. I have since sold the airframe but still posses the motor NIB. And some pics of that day when i was there.

Certainly a better builder than pilot. If i had the same amount of time flying than building i would be certified to fly a 747. Lol
Cheers
