What is the radio system you primarily use for your modeling?

I used Futaba for the first 5 years or so. I selected "Other" because I've been out of the hobby a few years and will be getting back in with the Spektrum DX7. It's hard for me to resist its Siren song of cool new technology :)

I've always used Airtronics (except back in the dark ages when I had a Heathkit ), but I think I'll be switching to the Spektrum DX7 as well. Hmmm anyone want to trade a brand new Skyshark P-40 ARF for a new DX7 system????

I started out using JR primarly as a Club member had a hobby shop and sold that brand. I will be swiching also to the Spektrum system when they get more than 7 channels and more choices of tx's probally 2008. I will keep my good JR Tx also as you allways need a spare when using JR equipment

I started with a Heathkit back in the dark ages and
graduated to Kraft, JR, Futaba, and then back to JR in 1999. I like the JR
because of the size to the TX. It seems to fit my hands much better. I agree
with Taildragger on the Spektrum system and more channels. I already use all
ten on my latest adventure.

Started with EK, assembled a Heathkit version of the Kraft, added more Kraft through the years until they were manufactured by Koreans then moved to JR, then Multiplex. Will be moving to SST when 12 channels or greater are offered.

Started out with Citizenship when we only had rudder control and one button on the transmitter. Flew "Galloping Ghost" and reeds. My first proportional was a Heathkit and then I used Hobby Lobby for a few years. Finally switched to JR and have used them for 20+ years. As soon as JR developes their Spread Spectrum, I will be buying one.
