Hi guys

I am new to this forum and was introduced by a friend of mine. He has asked me to put on here a build thread of a project I have started. Basically its a 1/4 scale P51D, its the first serious scale plane I have attempted to build.

The kit is a 3W composite at 112 inch wingspan, The spec so far is it has a Kolm 135cc engine. Lado electric retracts,

I bought the kit from a guy who started it but didn't get to far, so I have to amend or change a few things.

I do not consider myself an expert in any way but have built and flown lots of stuff, I will always appreciate any advice as a lot of you guys are the masters.

When I get to know my way around the site I will post some pics.

The P51 I am building will be a replica of the famous American P51d named  Little Horse , I hope I can do it justice.

I am based in Plymouth England and hope to learn a lot from you all.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

As we say in England Cheers to you All !!!

Always good to see a new face , and new posts.. I haven't been an OFFICIAL member long myself.
So welcome aboard and I look forward to seeing your Mustang.. I am SLOWLY working on an old Nosen 1/4 funscale Mustang myself....

I think I have motor jealousy !  Sounds like you have a great one in your project.

I have an old Sachs 4.2 I am using , It has some history in my area.( a friend flew it in the Byron Aviation shows) So I will have to be happy with that ;)

Hiya Paul, welcome aboard!  You can get tons of advice and appreciation here.

When you are ready to start your build thread and post pics you will need to become a site supporter LINK
I think the site is much better than any print magazine because it is focused exclusively on scale and with virtually instant feedback.  And oh yeah, a super bunch of guys and gals!

Cheers to you mate!
