Hope each and every one of you enjoyed your holiday and managed to find some time to spend in the shop or at the flying field. As we start another circle around the sun I hope each and every one of you have a prosperous and peaceful 2019!
A couple of quick items to cover this month:
1. Several members have contributed several new items to the 3D Repository. Site Supporters, if you have never checked it out be sure and check out this exclusive benefit of your subscription. Even if you don't own a 3D printer, you can use services like Shapeways to print these items.
2. Site Supporters, the latest Scale Vendor Resource Guide has been posted for the first quarter of 2019. There are 19 new vendors added and one removed. This is another exclusive benefit of being an RCSB Site Supporter.
3. Mentorship - Not many scale builders in your area? Grow some! Pick someone out in your local club who is interested in r/c scale and become their mentor. Help them build their first kit, then help them build from plans. The health and state of our hobby are each of our responsibility and simply complaining about it is not helping anything. Do something about it and mentor a new builder!
4. Basic members, have you checked out the benefits of subscribing? It's not just about posting but MANY other benefits to help you with your hobby, and it is cheaper than most magazine subscriptions! You can find more information about becoming an RCSB Site Supporter here.
