Beautiful, Richard. Just beautiful !!!
You say that you used a large battery pack to aid in balance. Was your Stuka nose or tail heavy?
Looking forward to the inflight shots.
Thanks Tom . Your answer is tail heavy. It's a big stab and a long way back. I placed two Sub C's above the fuel tank bay and no added weight was needed. Might as well take advantage of the C's weight, than put Li-Po's in and then some lead. Alot cheaper and they can be fast charged should the need arise.
I can only fly on Sundays at this time. Getting my photographer available when the weather is right could take some time . I haven't mastered holding a camera and focusing, at the same time as twiddling the sticks

No hurry, Richard. Wait until the timing is perfect to maiden your Stuka.
Hmmm. X-craft's Stuka came out nose heavy, with a G-62. leave it to you to confuse the issue.

She's flown, competed and now capped it with front cover and centre spread

Beautiful job on your Stuka! What are you using for a siren, and where did you get it?

JIm,
i4C products (USA). I don't think they do the siren I used anymore, which is extremely loud, boy does it make people stop and dive for cover. I seem to remember someone saying they do a smaller and electronic version which is just as loud.

Great. thanks! A buddy and I are doing a pair of Stukas and we want to do some dive bomb routines. I have a couple of the i4c air whistles and they work great. I want to put one of those on the bomb, then we'll have a screaming sirens and whistling bombs!!
