Good decision about SSL. Funny, I just installed SSL on server at work today, and now I'm reading this. 

I am one of those linking images from photobucket. I prefer it over images uploaded directly to RCSB, because of higher resolution and quality. 

Often images loaded to the site are small, and it is hard to see details. 

Would you consider increasing size limit? 

Also, just to test, I tried to link to link image from Google Drive, which is secured. It worked as a link, but not as a image....

First of all, AMAZING picter, no matter how you uploaded it ;)

Second, you proved the point, that is big and shows details well. We'll wait for the tutorials :)

To be honest, I was one of your statistical 40% who had lost links for photos in the threads although that happened totally out of my control. But the result was frustrating to the viewers as you mention. The pictureless text suddenly makes the build thread totally "nonsense". To add to the frustration, I had to spend a lot of time to put back those photos (I even removed hard drives from my previous computers, hacked some external drives to be able to connect the recovered hard drives and search for the lost photos in them, and some photos were still missing, unfortunately).  

The reason I was insisting on using Photobucket was same as Mario stated. Simply the disbelief in 175kb limit will not allow me to give the details needed because my previous photo processing tools were only cropping the image size to decrease the file size, resulting in a small and not so good image. But your "sample" photo is amazing which had virtually slapped me on the face and pushed to go and check once again the FAQ, download the PhotoRazor and give it a try. To admit, the process is even much easier than the route I was following to publish previously, and the resulting quality change is not even noticeable to the bare eye. So I will not wait for the September, by today I switched to upload my photos directly to the site after processing with PhotoRazor.
