Welcome, you will learn a lot by "peeking in" . I am a member here and far from pro. The biggest thing here is learning by others mistakes. Fell free to become a member and get some more access to member downloads. Scott

Thanks Scott,
Mistake, I made quite a few on that first kit, but balsa and wood glue is forgiving and I really enjoyed the experience. Trial & error are the best teachers, but nothing like learning from experienced builders like you have on this site. I admired the skill, techniques and patience you all put into such a passionate hobby.

Hi Michael, welcome to RCSB! Everyone's first kit is like that, but you persevered and got a flyable airplane out of it - be proud! (and stick your tongue out at your ARF-flying friends who will have to buy another ARF when they crash cuz they don't know how to build!)

Michael, welcome to the BEST forum on building, at least in my opinion from a fellow Canuck. Get the best benefits when you become a member, as there are lots and lots of interesting build threads, advice and assistance from around the world. Once you get on here and build a few relationships, we become like family, the good relations that is !!!!! LOL Welcome again, and Montreal is a beautiful city, having spent some time there when I was in the working world.

Welcome Michael! If you're looking how to learn from mistakes....just read any of my build threads. I usually need to redo things at least twice to get it right. Consider site membership as the benefits far exceed the minimal expense and go a long way to keep the information flowing for all of us to learn from each other. You're now firmly in the arms of some of the most talented builders around (not me) and of course it sure is building season in Canada so grab a project, start a thread and have some fun! You will never lack from advice and assistance.
Good luck!
David
