Hope you are are have a great May! Lots of fly-ins and contests here in the Northern Hemisphere. I know our pals down-under are starting to sharpen their x-actos and cleaning off their building benches for another building season. No matter if you are flying this month or building please be sure to do it safely and try to share this great hobby with someone new this month.
Just a few items to cover this month...
1. 3D PARTS REPOSITORY - The idea here is that subscribers can offer STL files
(what you need to print the part) to other members for no charge (which
they can go print themselves) but also offer them printing or
modification services at a modest fee if they so choose to offer that.
Everyone wins! We all get access to a great parts library, and the guys
who have the printers can help recover some of their cost. You can read more in this post:
2. 3D PRINTING FORUM - And speaking of 3D printing, if you are considering purchasing one of these great tools be sure and check out the "3D Printing Forum" and ask any questions you may have there! 3. PHOTOS FROM EVENTS - While attending events this flying season if you take some picture be sure and share them in the "Scale Events" forum. Everyone would love to see all the beautiful models out there. I look forward to seeing more this year!
