Welcome to 2016!  This year will be a challenging year for our hobby as those of us in the US continue to challenge overstepping FAA rules, educate the general public, and try to bring more folks into the hobby. It will be a challenge but we as a hobby have overcome much more than this in the past!

One of the things we ALL can do for our hobby is be great ambassadors. Reaching out to local media and groups is more important than ever to help educate the general public that we are a safety conscious hobby before the general public is convinced by the media that we are ALL bad and need to go away. Folks I can't stress enough to you how important this is. Simply complaining about it with out doing anything will not get the work done. We ALL have to step up and start educating the public and our leaders this year (no matter what country you are in). So put on your R/C ambassador hat and start setting up those mall shows, invite boy and girl scout troops out to the field, work with youth groups to introduce them to the hobby and get those local news crews out to your flying field to show how great our hobby is.

Let's all remember something my father used to say: "If you complain without offering a solution or doing something about it, then you are just whining."

This holds true today more than ever so let's get to work!
Happy New Year to you all!
