Sorry about wrong context for question, wrongfully piggy backed on Slayers response. Guess I was hoping this could be default behaviour when new search leaves beta test phase :)

Let me look into it, it might be doable. The real problem is the consistency between different types of search results need to behave differently. But we might be able to accommodate that change. However, on a mobile device the results may not be what you expect them to be depending on the platform and browser because of the way they function.

Thanks Mike, but please give priority to anything you find more important. RCSB is the cyber space I visit most often, thus you must be doing OK as it is ;)

Really like the new search facility, really worked well each time I tried to find something "I knew I had seen somewhere" sign of increasing age, remember you saw something but not what or where.......
Cheers Danny

This is good news. My internet connection was really struggling with this site here in Oz.

Hi Phil,
Yes, you should see a slight increase in speed when the CDN is in place but you should not be currently "struggling" with RCSB. There might be something else going on. First, if you have not already done so, you might want to consider running a good anti-malware program like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (they have a free version) to find Malware that most virus scanners cannot see. Secondly if you are still having speed issues you should contact your Internet service provider and let them know. There is nothing slow about RCSB that would make it "struggle" when you try and go with it.
These type of issues are more than not simply some Malware hiding on your PC eating up resources in the background. More than likely there is some malware hiding on your PC or there is a issue with your service provider.
If you cannot resolve this please contact me back channel via PM (as not to clutter up this thread) and I will work with you to try and locate exactly where the issue is.
Thanks for the post and your support!
Regards, Mike

Thanks Mike, most of the issue was around my ISP, whose service was fading away to nothing with the introduction of our compulsory state controlled ISP. Sorted now, but previous to that I did find the uploads/downloads to be a little slow. It has improved a lot with the new ISP.
