Recently joined this site and thought it's about time I introduced myself. Not flown anything for a good few years but fully intend to get back into the r/c game. While I'm pottering around with cheap trainers and the like, to get my eye in again, I've took on building the B.T. Mosquito as a long term project. This I intend to do as a B.MK.XVI of 627sq of Woodhall Spa 1944-45. Why this squadron? Because I had a very dear friend, who recently passed away, who served on this squadron.

As for my user name. I come from Chesterfield, home of the crooked spire. The football league team has a mascot called Chester the fieldmouse. My surname is Chester. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work out my nickname.

Chris

Welcome back Chris, my experience is similar to yours in that I have returned after a long absence and am having to retrain my fingers with a few basic models.

I have moved the landing gear wire discussion to it's own thread as it is not related at all to the original poster's thread.

Please do not hi-jack others threads with a off-subject discussion. Please review the site rules at the top of each forum listing or review the FAQ if you are not sure about something.

Sorry to take so long to address this but I just saw it.

Many thanks,
Mike
