I plan on upgrading to a new radio system. The old PCM 6 channel futaba I have is too old. I'm in Llittle Elm Texas close to Denton. I thought about buying an arf but really love to build.

Cleburn is about 60 miles southwest of me. I got friends there. I like that area. Nice and country like. I try to live on the city's out skirts. I work in the middle of Dallas pretty much. Too much traffic and too many people.

I have actually found my plane locally and am picking it up tomorrow. Well, my wife is going to get it for me since I volunteered to work tomorrow. gotta get them extra hours in for the new plane project. I will start a build thread once I get started on it. Oh, and my AMA card finally came in the mail today. Woohoo !!!!!

Stick around. Should be pretty exciting to see a plane being built by someone that hasn't touched one in a long time. I'm actually looking forward to some great tips and info during the build. I am rusty and am sure going to need it.
