Greetings fellow scale modelers. I hope this year has been a good on for you. While economically it has not been the best year for most of us, I have to say that the hobby made it a much better one by allowing me to meet some new folks and make some new friends. And most importantly, getting to spend more time with my existing friends. You are to many to name here but you all mean a lot to this fella and I thank you all for your friendship. 

This time of year also makes me reflect back on the last year and look at things I have accomplished and think about things I want to accomplish next year. I definitely feel I fell short on mentoring in the hobby this last year, but plan on changing that in the upcoming year. I also want to start writing a book this next year. But more about that later on.

What are your hobby related goals for 2014?

As we prepare to spend time with family and/or friends this holiday season, I would ask each of you to please be safe in your travels and very aware of others driving as well. And please, no matter what do not drink and drive. Regardless of how or what you celebrate this time of year, and regardless where you are in the world, enjoy the time with your loved ones and friends.

Peace on earth, and good will to all men. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from here in the USA.

You should have a sense of fulfillment in this holiday season for creating this Mini United Nations that actually works.. The real UN could learn something from your example.  You have built a place of fellowship for an extremly diverse population from all over the world and I feel privilaged to be a member.
