Can you believe it? It's already December! It seems every year speeds up more than the one before it. This getting older thing is overrated for sure.

I hope each and every one of you have a great holiday season this year. Be sure to take time for your family and yourself in this hectic time of the year and enjoy it.

Just a few items to cover...

1. New Supporting Vendor - Join me in welcoming long time supporting member and designer David Andersen as our newest supporting vender here on RCSB. David is well know in the scale community as a prolific builder and designer (and even an occasional writer of short stories). 2. Forum Lingo - I see a lot of members incorrectly using names/terms when discussing parts of this forum. This can be very confusing to others when they are trying to follow your conversation when you use incorrect terms. For example the most notable one is when someone calls a topic/thread a forum. Here are the correct terms in order of precedence if you are not clear.

A Forum is a tree like structure at the top is:

Category - A Collection of Forums that are similar (designers, kits, site info, etc)
Forum - A collection of topics (also called threads) and can contain sub-forums also (Jerry Bates, Site News, etc)
Topic - A collection of posts all related to the same subject
Post - When you write information related to a Topic.
