Happy New Year to you all!
A lot of new things coming up in 2015 for RCSB Subscribers! Look forward to more contest, drawings, and some very special offers through the year as our supporting vendors step up and help us to keep our community here THE source for R/C Scale building.
What are your modeling goals this year? Have you though about that any? I didn't get a lot of building done in 2014 due to lots
of other obligations (this site being one of those), but this year I
want to finish up a few things and start a new project.
Maybe this year would be a great time to take on the task of mentoring someone at your local club who is interested in scale modeling. Or, maybe you want to do something new with your club to promote our hobby to the general public? Still, it might just be to finish up a specific project and move on to the next one.
I would love to hear from you guys in this thread as to what your hobby goals are in 2015. So do a quick post and let me know what your hobby goals are for this year and let's all make them happen!
We have a great supportive community here that is like no other on the internet. I hope you enjoy the site as much as myself and all the great moderators and admins enjoy bringing it to you. May 2015 be your best hobby year yet!

Continue on the Vengeance and give it a nice scale cockpit. Continue learning from everyone here on the site, it has been on of my useful tools while building, this place is family I don't have any builders in my club.

Being that you ask.... As of today i am the President of our local RC club. My number one goal with respect to RC is to do a good job for this club and to continue with the excellent leadership that the past President has provided over the past two years. The past President is now the Vice President so that is good for me from a support perspective.
Second i am the CD for the Hoosier Scale Classic. This will be our second year for the contest. The goal here is to have as good if not better contest than last years. By the way, the date is August 1st and 2nd in Seymour, IN. We have a great flying site. Come and join us.
Third is to finish as much as possible of a Ziroli Hellcat that is under construction.

Happy New year to everyone,
haven't been building for a while owing to getting ready to move house which we hope to do early this year. I do plan to finish off the 96 inch Mossie, a 48" electric Chiltern and the 1/4 scale ASK-18.
Once we build our new house with a new workshop I'll have room to start my 1/4 Scale Mick Reeves Spitty, I have the short kit and all the bits ready just need time and space.
Cheers
Happy building everyone
SteveB

Happy new year everyone! 2015 will be when I stop lurking on the site and be more active on here and in modeling. I will start my first real scale project this year. And go to my first contest as a spectator...for now.

Hi everyone. Happy New Year. Like Rivnut13, I intend to get active in scale modelling and be less of an observor on this site. I can't be a newbie forever. I've been flying ARFs till now, but my intention when I started flying a few
years ago was always to "build" large scale airplanes, so 2015 is when that begins. To get started in kit building, I'm going to build a SIG Astro Hog and then a SIG Hog Bipe. If I can manage those, then I will start my first serious kit, a Top Flite Stinson Reliant SR-9. This is one of my favourite airplanes. Hopeful that will happen later this year. I'll need plenty of help along the way from RSCB, but no worries there, this is a terrific site and you guys are incredible. Best wishes. Sean
