Its a pleasure to be aboard.  I figure it is finally time to introduce myself....I have looked at other sites and have found this one to be the website for me.  I will confess that I am more of a "lurker" then a "conversationalist" but I think that may possibly change as time goes on and I become more imersed into the hobby.

I am currently building a Top Flight Cessna 182 from a kit as time will permit and have enjoyed the build thus far. 

I have been in and out of the hobby sense I was a kid and was originally introduced to the hobby through my father, who built and flew control line models. (my first plane was the Stuntman)  I remember he only had one RC trainer in his hobby carreer but seemed to be in complete fear of the thing that spawned from a love/hate relationship. 

I currently have a World Models 33% Ultimate, a 70" Edge 540 by Seagulls, a Gillow's Hell Cat that my daughter and I built from a kit into a full RC electric.  (she refuses to let me fly it!), a KMP 70" Gee Bee R2, and a Beechcraft Baron G58 ARF still in the box.

The other build threads I have read have inspired me to begin building other scale models of more detail.  I must confess that I have been living vicariously through the other modelers which have also motivated me to want to have more builds for the future. 

Looking forward to a long meaningful relationship with this web site. (don?t worry my wife and kids are still NO. 1!)

BE SURE and do a thread on your Baron or any other model you choose - the help, advice and encouragment here are unsurpassed!

Welcome Baron, we're glad you found us. As Jeff said, you are encouraged to start a build thread. Not anywhere else will you have so many people ready and able to answer questions or give advice without any negative judgement.

The more you get involved the more you will get out of this site.
