As reported in Classic Wings Downunder, Pioneer Aero in Auckland New Zealand have announced that they have acquired the remains of de Havilland Sea Hornet F20 TT193 with the intention of re-creating a flying Hornet. By their own admission, a long-term project... The only civilian-operated Hornet, TT193 has been deteriorating on a farm in Alberta Canada since 1952 so it is great news that the remains are finally being taken care of.
