I hope you will share your particulars with us. I have all the bits to do the build and have always never felt up to the challenge. I know i can fly it if i can get it done.
Power is now looking like an electric version when I build mine.
I had the pleasure of riding one at Duxford in the summer of 2016.

First I'd like to thank you for your comments, and will try to cover most of your questions.

I decided that it will be electric, and each nacelle has 920kv brushless, 60A ESC and 5000MAH 4S 45C Graphene LiPo, 13x7 props CW and CCW, the LiPo is in each nacelle and the servo for the flaps.

The plan called for a one piece lower wing at 8ft, made it a bit difficult to handle, and plug-in upper wings, so I split the lower wing into three, the centre with the nacelles I was going to fix to the fuselage, but later decided to convert back to bolting on. The upper wings I split and fixed to the fuselage ( you can see from the photos) .





The outer part of the wings I could keep as one unit with the working I/16 flat wire rigging in place ( the plan was for wire ,`S` hooks and elastic bands to hold in place).

I made quiet a lot of small alterations as the build went along, having split the wings I have a servo for each aileron, I wanted to keep the main cabin clear for the seats and the navigation radios for the trainees, so Rx batteries are located in the centre of the wing part of the nacelle, also any batteries for the lighting (Nav lights/ nose landing light/ cabin lights)

The Rx and gyro unit is in the centre part of the upper wing.






A bit about the `Dominie` as it was known by the RAF, first was delivered in 1939, 469 were built for the RAF mainly for radio navigation training and they carried out a wide range of communication roles, even fitted out to carry stretchers. The Dominie was retired in 1957 from service.
