While I was profoundly disappointed by the number of vendors and attendance at Toledo I learned a few industry news Items.

When Horizon bought Tower they weren't interested in continuing the TF Kit line. All assets have been liquidated and patterns/templates etc have been destroyed. Kits are no longer.....

Some of the TF Kit Canopies might be available from Dynamic Balsa, he kept the NOS canopies out of the bin

Evolution Engines imported from China and distributed by Horizon has closed their MFG facility without prior notification to Horizon.
Leaving Horizon scratching their head, existing stock and parts is all that is left. There is no hint of the line being reconstituted but if that were to happen I think the delay might be years.

Be going to Weak Signal Show for 30 years. The past 3 or 4 years there is a steady decline in Manufacturer's booths.

Hate to see it but I will continue attending the show as long as they have it.

   Regards, Mike

When the buyout happened, a Horizon rep stated in a thread on RCGroups that Horizon did not buy the TF and GP kit lines.  We may not like it but this makes sense for Horizon given their ARF only focus.  Nobody (at least nobody who is talking about it publicly)  knows what happened to the plans and tooling but there was no mention of it being "destroyed"

Some elements of Hobbico where purchased by other entities - for ex. Estes rockets was purchased by a private investor. Its always possible this may yet happen for the kits, so lets not spread rumors.

I'm reasonably certain of the facts as presented to me, but I hope I'm wrong.

It wouldn't surprise me if they retained the rights/trademarks to the various designs and aircraft names at least. I think their new 30cc Goldberg Tiger ARF points to that.

They aren't doing KITS anymore. I don't believe any of the kits were produced offshore.
