You have groceries in your stores?
The hoarders up here have gotten almost everything.
People are stocking up on guns and ammunition also!
What the he-- do they think is coming????

most things are available except hand sanitizer and face marks.  Meat is available if you get in early before the idiots strip the shelves. Seriously how many freezers can these idiots have?

I had not shopped for about a month so was a re-stock as opposed to any hording.  $60 of it was laundry products and $250 of delivered lite n easy frozen dinners, I normally get those so its not a biggie.

No guns etc here unless you are in a registered club or a crim!  We honest folk are not allowed them.

Well you never know when the chinese zombie hoards will come moping down the street and you will need an AR-15 with double mags!!

Magazine containing live rounds - LOAD!! LOL  From my old military training on SLRs.  Cool

Hey Ken, I can remember drooling over this big black beauty at Temora, Nov. 2008.

To give the guys a size perspective, my 1/4 scale Albatros DVa looked and was quite small relative to the Lysander. Great memories and a beautiful model worthy of restoration.

Lurking with interest.

Phil

Whatever it takes what Ken has to build
something like the Lysander, well, I don't have it...

PeterOz, here in a lot of states in the U.S., citizens are allowed
to "open carry", carry guns on their hips like in the old cowboy
days here in the U.S.

I'd rather spend my money on something like Ken's Lysander!
And it's lasted 12 years!  There must have been at least a few
"eggshell" landings, as Ken put it. I think he's being modest...

Thank you, Phil. That brought back a memory or two. What a lovely day that was. I recall the day before in the morning was grey and misty.
Nice shots of the Lizzie. Thanks for letting us see them.
I remember that beaut Albatross. That is another one I always hankered to build. Is there no end ... ? No !
Carry on lurking, Phil. Good to know you are there keeping an eye on things.
Cheers mate.
Ken

Glad you are doing a bit of refurb on the Lizzy... I remember us talking about the Lysander before you built it.

It really is an impressive model pal!

Mike
