The usual Dawn Patrol day starts off with the obligatory Dawn Patrol - take-off at sunrise. I flew in several of those myself, making picture-taking a bit of a juggling act. On Sunday morning I asked William Emerick (black rudder Eindekker pilot) to borrow my camera and see what he could capture. He did an outstanding job, in my humble opinion.

Overall it was a very successful Dawn Patrol, and I have to give a shout out to all the Airmasters for hosting a wonderful event, and special thanks to CD Tony Gronas and his team including Paul Wiley and Rick Wegert for making it a very special time.

Hope you enjoyed the picture show - I'll be attending several more events like the IOK, so let me know if this is the kind of event photo coverage you enjoy.

Our next Dawn Patrol event takes place just north of Elwood, Indiana = the Madison County Dawn Patrol. I'll try and include more information with the pictures (things like names and such, which I am notoriously bad at).

Additionally, if you've a chance, check out Mike Bealmear's photos up on his RC Dawn Patrol website - he snagged some good photos of the event as well!!
