Hello Mike interesting thread .....personally i do all built up with wood cut my own mostly tissue dope covering and acrilic paints ...........another interesting thread maybe as every one has a part of the construction on their aircraft they hate doing

All wood apart from ready made cowls, although the Ziroli kit I bought off ebay has some G/F lumps including two 5' pieces that look like a cross between a downpipe and a shark.

My only "built from plans" model is all wood, but I'm open to other materials and methods. If a nice kit of a subject I was interested in came in f/g, or foam, or any combo thereof, I'd be willing to give it a go. The finished result is what we're about, after all.
