Sweet bird! Anybody ever notice that you hardly ever see a poorly built Taylor Typhoon? Must be one of those projects that only gets tackled by the "hard core" builder types. Good luck to Keith on getting this one finished and flying.

Finally, some images of finished project. I have weighed this bird, and it came out heavier than anticipated. Without adding ballast it weighs 17lb with near 5lb ballast required.
Impressive work.
Too bad you will need to redo the snout to get a bigger lump in front.
I would suggest a Moki 2.10. It's a real powerhouse useful weight up front as well. It runs well on low nitro fuel.
or the DA 50 would be a bit more fuel efficient.
Great job none the less. Will the landing gear handle the 23 pounds?
