Hello everyone,

this is one of my favourite, a quarter scale P-40 Warhawk built from an all in fibre glass kit. This bird is now 20 years old but still in a good condition. It flys well and makes a lot of fun...
The wingspan is 2.85 m, weight around 20.5 kg (dry). The motor is a DA 100I with a three-blade Ramoser prop. The propeller pitch can be varied but unfortunately not during flight. So, one is able to optimise thrust in dependence on rpm, which again depends on pitch.

the distributor of this kit retired some years ago. So, the kit is not available anymore.

Lovely P-40 - looks real in the air!  I love that it has a 3 blade prop.  Awesome job - always been a fan of the P-40.
