Hi All!

I thought I should introduce myself after nearly two years as a basic member. In the last year Lockdown here in the UK has made life much easier to get building!

A bit of background. I've been in the RC game for just over 3 years now and competing in the UK scale scene for just over 2 years competing at my first nationals in 2019.

Whilst juggling Politics at University I work part time at Sussex Model Centre here in the UK which has been a fantastic help for sure!

My first balsa scale build was a Vintage Model Company Balsa Basics Cub and was fantastic to build. At present I have several projects on the go including a Flair Cub Restoration, A Tony Nijhuis Lancaster and a ARTF conversion of a Seagull Chipmunk.

For all 3 I hope to get some threads going, but really excited to get started!

Cheers

Ben

Welcome Ben,

Good to have you onboard. Sounds too, like your Lancaster is an ambitious project! You’ll feel right at home when visiting the RAF museum in Henson.

Cheers,
