I finally finished/flew my 1/4 scale DR.1 I started 10/14/20. My intent was a quick easy sport scale plane.
It is powered by a G-26 converted to electronic ignition, B&B muffler and a 16 oz fuel tank. It's swinging a Xoar Axial 18x6 prop at around 8000rpm
I used Hitec MG-645's all around. I use duel FRSky receivers the R8 as primary and the M+ in the tail as a satellite. These are mixed through a FRSky redundancy bus 10.
There are two 2500mah A123 batteries on the bus. The ignition is run off a channel using a TechAero IBEC.
The pilot is from Aces of Iron I painted with acrylic paint.
The airframe is covered with Solartex linen and painted with Rustolium 2x paint. The vinyl is from Callie Graphics. I used Minwax Satin Polyurethane spray to seal it.
It has a functional spring loaded tail skid and pull pull elevators and rudder. The are fake aileron pull cables on the top of the ailerons.
The guns are Balsa USA kits.
Still getting used to it but I love how it looks and flies.

I've enjoyed following your build and the watching the initial flight. Good job with the video too. I'm looking forward to your Corsair build coming up.
