Wow! That brings back some memories...not many good.I worked for Hughes Aviation in the 80's, the US distributor for this airplane. It was a failure for the company as far as I could tell. We leased most of them and when they came back (if they came back at all, some were abandoned in remote areas and not worth recovering) they required extensive work to bring back to airworthy condition. Not very robust, although some of the users did abuse them. I remember one that came back had holes in the fuselage from horns. They'd been carrying livestock in it. Man, did it smell!
